On June 25 and 26 June 2013, the Vienna+20 CSO Conference of more than 140 persons from various CSOs around the world gathered at Vienna on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the 1993 World Conference on Human Rights and its Vienna Declaration and Programme of Action issued on June 25, 1993.
The Civil Society Platform to Promote SRHR (sexual and reproductive health and rights) Beyond 2015 is a global advocacy initiative led by 13 SRHR networks united around the common goal of including SRHR in the post-2015 development agenda and advocating jointly at the national, regional and international level.  This initiative was born out of the need for collaboration, task division and joint action towards one clear SRHR ask.
With the ongoing violent attacks to thousands of people peacefully protesting in various parts of Turkey, Turkish-based organisations are calling for urgent solidarity actions and to write to Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Erdogan to demand:
1.      This violent attack by the police forces has to stop immediately.  The government is solely responsible for what will happen today and in  the coming days.
